The muscatel note in this first flush is unmistakable, and it stays smooth even when I forget the leaves in the cup. Floral without being perfumey, which is exactly what I want from an early spring Darjeeling. Already planning to reorder before the 12-month shelf life even matters.

Steeped this at 195°F for three minutes and the muscatel note is unmistakable, almost like a light white wine. The liquor stays bright and crisp even after a second pour, no bitterness at all.

Brewed this for my usual morning cup and the liquor came out so pale and fragrant I almost thought I’d under-steeped it, but that delicate muscatel note hit right at the back of the palate. The floral aroma lingers in the empty cup longer than most teas I’ve tried. It’s genuinely worth the price for
